Ca fait des mois que je lis ce forum avec attention, et voila que je suis allé l?autre jour à la frontière pour devenir résident permanent. Je vous envoie ici mes délais. Bonne chance pour tout le monde!

January 2003 ? Request CSQ

April 2003 ? CSQ Interview at New York (Rockefeller Center, hehe)

May 2003 ? Sent files to the federal government, Buffalo Consulate

24th June 2003 ? File Number and letter requesting medical and clearance check from the RCMP

14th July 2003 ? They start processing the security check at the RCMP

August 2003 ? Medical exams (100$ CAD all inclusive and it was quite fast)

24th November 2003 ? The RCMP sent the security clearance to Buffalo

December 2003 ? Got a letter from Buffalo requesting landing fee of 975$.

17th January 2004 ? Decision Made and passport request from Buffalo

9th February 2004 ? Sent Passport to Buffalo by UPS, they received the next day.

20th February 2004 ? Got the passport back

21st February 2004 ? Went to the nearest border to became a landed immigrant
